Veterinary Science Programs

Veterinary technicians assist doctors of veterinary medicine in a wide range of settings and work in animal research labs. As a graduate of an associate or bachelor's program a student will be ready for the following responsibilities: assist a veterinarian in veterinary surgery and treatment, acquire the scientific and practical knowledge necessary to perform effective preventative care consultations, use communication skills to explain post-surgical care instructions to owners, participate in research projects designed to improve the lives of both animals and humans.
